Espadafor began its journey on October 11th, 1939 in the city center of Granada when Francisco Espadafor Ramírez decided to focus his business on the wine and non-alcoholic beverages industry.
In 1952 after the death of Francisco, his son Juan Espadafor Caba continued with the wine industry, starting also to manufacture Konga soda as well as the construction of the new factory in 1967 in Carretera de Madrid with a total size of 2,500 m2 warehouse and 3.500 m2 plot. Alcohol-free beverages such as Frutaysol soft drinks were also well-known and, as early as 1978, devised and began the production and sale of Castillo de Salobreña.
EULOGIO & JOSÉ ESPADAFOR, TWO BROTHERS AHEAD
In 1985, after Don Juan Espadafor Caba retired, Eulogio Espadafor Llobera and José Espadafor Llobera started to rule the business,focusing all their efforts on new non-alcoholic beverages, starting with the Dama the baza concentrates, Frutaysol alcohol-free liquors, in 1998 Whissin, obtaining SIAL D’OR prize to the most innovative product, champín, special for children, innovating on new products, alcohol-free cocktails, and entering the international market.
NEW WINDS
In the year 2000, the company moved to the new factory in Avenida de Andalucía with 6.000 m2 warehouse and 10.000 m2 plot continuing with the slogan of “Quality, Service and Price”, investing part of its resources in R+D+I. And generating renewable energy with solar panels in order to suplly the entire new factory.
In 2011 a new generation has arrived, Juan Francisco Espadafor Sánchez and Jose Miguel Espadafor Paredes, leading the new eco and bio trends, as well as the creation of products such as Cloudem, Singría, Special Sparklings and exporting, during the year 2018, to more than 60 countries.

In 2019 we have moved to 37,500 m2 with 17,500 m2 warehouses where the new bio and eco following high quality strandards such as the IFS and BRC strandards.
